About the Watch in Short. This model is a real find for professional divers and just diving enthusiasts. Water protection meets international standards ISO 200, in which samples are tested for stable operation at a depth of 200 meters under water. The case is distinguished by its atypical asymmetric shape. The strap is made of two materials – polyurethane and carbon fiber [for even greater strength]. A new generation triple sensor is installed in the watch – the depth gauge, which measures the depth of being under water, takes the place of the barometer. The measuring range of -80m is ready to satisfy almost any divers needs. After the dive, you can display information about the water temperature, duration of the dive and depth. If the ascent is too fast, the watch will tell you about the need to slow down for the safety of the body. Other functions of the sensor are a thermometer that measures the temperature of the water, and a digital compass. The solar battery is responsible for the power, and the time is synchronized by radio waves. Powerful backlighting will make the dial visible even in the darkest places under water.

Solar Power. None-Stop – A solar panel converts even weak illumination from fluorescent lighting into electric power. A rechargeable battery with a large power storage capacity supports stable operation of various functions with high electricity consumption. You never have to worry about the battery running down because it’s a solar battery. Casio watches with solar technology, receive thermal and electrical energy that recharges the watch batteries through solar panels on the face of the watch.

Smart Access. This analog control system combines Multi Mission Drive, which assigns multiple functions to individual hands, with an electronic crown switch. World Time city selection is conducted with simple crown operation, providing quick access to the times in the world’s major cities.

Multi-motor construction. Smooth switching of the various displays is achieved by a drive mechanism including an optimized number of motors. Electronic Crown Switch. Smart Access makes it easy to operate CASIO’s multi-function watches. Simply pulling out and rotating the crown provides intuitive control over world time city selection and various other functions.

Metal moulding. The moulds employed for resin watch parts, from gears and other precision parts to novel moulded external parts, are originally fabricated at Yamagata CASIO. Besides undergoing many automated manufacturing processes, they are hand-polished to give them a precision finish.

Module manufacture. A single production line at Yamagata CASIO can handle assembly of as many as 13 types of movements, and the ability to perform speedy small-lot production of many products is among its strengths. Suitable for production of a diverse variety of watches, from watches with three hands to chronographs with multiple hands, the lines have the capacity to create an abundant lineup that enables customers to select a watch to suit their style.

Parts manufacture. Several microscopically sized rigid resin gears are installed in each movement. Minute teeth around the gears’ perimeters mesh with the teeth of other gears neither too gently nor too strongly to assure smooth movement. At Yamagata CASIO, these minute parts are made using machining technologies with 1/1000 mm precision to assure more accurate gear movement.

Quality assurance. Conducting everything from mould design and production to parts moulding, circuit board mounting and assembly in a highly integrated production system, Yamagata CASIO achieves high-quality product manufacturing. An inspection system making free use of leading-edge sensing technologies to conduct precision examinations of parts quality by sensor is implemented in every process. Only products that satisfy strict standards are sent out into the world.

MR-G Connected App. This is the basic application for connecting and communicating with a Bluetooth(R) v4.0 enabled CASIO watch.
Pairing your watch with a smartphone enables use of a variety of different Mobile Link functions that greatly enhance the smartphone experience.
The MR-G Connected app also simplifies certain watch operations by letting you perform them on your phone screen.

Official Casio Description. Introducing an elegantly beautiful new titanium model for the mid-size series of the G-SHOCK MR-G flagship lineup. Everything possible has been done to reflect the metal crafting aesthetics of armor, swords, and other Japanese arms, which have been symbols of power in Japan since time immemorial.
The case and band are made of titanium that has been deep surface hardened and then given a titanium carbide finish, which creates a beautiful lustrous silver color. The bezel is then giving a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating that gives it a bold and intrepid black color. All of this is offset by the vivid red accents on the face that evoke images of red braided armor that adds an imposing majesty to the metal and creates a sense of power.
Functions include Bluetooth®, time correction using time calibration signals, and smartphone linking capabilities.
