Most G-Shocks are manufactured in Chinese and Thai factories, but for premium lines like G-Shock MRG, MTG, there is a Yamagata factory in Japan – with strict quality control and all stages of production followed by “rigorous” endurance tests. For example, the MRG line is only made in Japan.
